These are beautiful Australian Red and Grey Mallee Burl magnetic knife racks that range from 12-20" long with magnets spread to hold between 4-10 chef knives and sometimes a spot for a smaller knife.

We use neodymium rare earth magnets although small they are EXTREMELY powerful. They are drilled in from the back to leave only a thin layer of material in front of them. The magnets are backed with maple plugs both plugs and magnets are glued in place using a high grade adhesive to ensure a lifetime of use.

-Magnets are arranged in pairs to hold knives vertically and pull knives into set locations so knives never collide. The magnets are so powerful that you will never be able to find a dead spot as the magnets will literally pull the knife to the location as the knife gets close to the wood.

Price is for 1 knife holder, any knives are shown for demonstration only and are not included.

**Wood Info**
These are beautiful pieces of Australian Red and Grey Mallee Burl. A rich brown and beautiful red heartwood turning to a pale brown sapwood this woods hardness and beauty make it an amazing option for our knife racks . Due to the nature of this hard burl the knife rack may have some small bark inclusions and natural cracks caused by the drying process. The natural edge has been de-barked for an amazing spiked surface.

**Mounting Hardware**
2 screws and drywall plugs are included, this knife rack is machined with a T slot to take hidden screws so there are no fasteners visible from the front once it's mounted.

**Food friendly finish**
The knife holder is finished with a food grade wax which is commonly used to treat salad bowls, wooden spoons, cutting boards and other food related wooden items
